Artwork to engage your people…
Murals have a special power to activate a space and illustrate your community by creating iconic and immersive experiences in outdoor or indoor spaces. Naomi’s favorite mural themes as usual encompass outdoor spaces and how we as people engage with them.
Naomi’s indoor and outdoor murals scale up to 900 square feet (so far) and up to 22 feet high (so far) before literally running out of building to paint! The limits here are only budget and whether there is a lift or scaffold system big enough to get to where the paint needs to go.
For large-scale work, Naomi has partnered with other artists to make installation happen in a reasonable timeline:
Anna Segner is Naomi’s trusted buddy for large and complex work! Anna has completed other partner-assisted murals in Ankeny, Des Moines, Atlantic Iowa, and her hometown in Minnesota. Together, Naomi and Anna designed and painted large and complex indoor murals at Sac County Conservation and IowaCounty Conservation.
Jim Wilcox, a retired commercial artist with 40 RAGBRAI rides under his belt, assisted on Naomi’s summer 2025 outdoor mural in Downtown Ames.
